  • Statement :

This is a re-enactment of the public dialogue of Joseph Beuys, which was conducted at the New School for Social Research in New York on January 11th, 1974. The re-enactment was performed in my hacked version of a popular video game, and recorded in the form of machinima.

This is a revised version. It was originally part of my three channels video work called Re-Dürer, created in 2016. This is the part which represented reason and morals in the ancient definitions of inspired melancholy.

Here is the 7th out of total 18 segments of video.

Here is the 9th out of total 18 segments of video.

Inspired by the spirit of Joseph Beuys, artists learn to keep their faith in the utopia. We learn to be optimistic when we are failing. We learn to be courage in front of evil. Loop structure is formed in our active life. Something is inevitable.
